Cosmic Dock System for Baldrick Controllers

The Cosmic Dock System is a chassis-style mounting system designed for Baldrick medium- and large-frame pixel controller boards, including the Baldrick8 and Baldrick17. It supports one or two Mean Well LRS-350 power supplies and gives your build a rigid, professional-grade foundation with integrated standoff bosses, stainless steel hardware, and a modular split-bracket PSU design.

No loose spacers, no plastic snap clips, and no extra hardware to chase down. Just open the bag, bolt it together, and build with confidence.

This is the same style of mounting system used in our Cosmic ready-to-run pixel controllers and custom commercial builds.

Product Overview

The Cosmic Dock System replaces generic brackets and DIY standoff stacks with a purpose-built chassis designed around the Baldrick board family and the Mean Well LRS-350 power supply. The Base Kit supports single-PSU Baldrick controller configurations, while the optional Dual PSU Lower Brackets bolt directly onto the existing base when you are ready to add a second power supply.

One system covers everything from a compact Baldrick8 single-PSU setup to a full Baldrick17 dual-PSU build, without replacing the original mount.

Key Features

Chassis-Grade Construction

Printed in heavy-wall PETG with dense gyroid infill for a strong, rigid mounting platform. The Dock plate features integrated standoff bosses, so the controller board bolts directly to the plate without loose spacers, separate standoffs, or adhesive mounts.

All Hardware Included

Every kit ships with 304 stainless steel fasteners matched to the design. No sourcing M3 and M4 screws separately, no waiting on a second order, and no guessing which hardware fits.

Modular Split-Bracket Design

The upper PSU bracket and optional lower dual-stack brackets use a split-bracket lap joint that interlocks around the Mean Well LRS-350 body. The result is a rigid, bolted cage that keeps the power supplies securely mounted in horizontal, vertical, or inverted orientations.

Open Airflow Design

Large cutouts in the Dock plate and open-frame bracket geometry help keep the PSU fan and intake vents unobstructed, making it a clean fit for enclosed controller builds.

Baldrick Board Compatibility

One Dock plate fits both medium-frame Baldrick boards and large-frame Baldrick boards, including the Baldrick8 and Baldrick17. Start with a Baldrick8 today and upgrade to a Baldrick17 later using the same mounting system.

Start with the Base Kit for a single-PSU setup. When your display grows and you need a second Mean Well LRS-350, add the Dual PSU Lower Brackets to your existing mount. The lower brackets bolt onto the base and stack the second PSU in a staggered layout for convenient terminal access.
